What is this programme really about?
Looking up and searching for meaning is a habit as old as humanity itself. Constellation names, lunar calendars and horoscope columns are part of a cultural heritage thousands of years old. The aim of this programme is not to belittle anyone who cares about that heritage; on the contrary, it takes the curiosity itself seriously and offers it solid tools.
The programme's central observation is this: astrology is not a scientific discipline. But that sentence only carries value when it is understood through method, not repeated as a slogan. How is a claim tested? How does our mind shape interpretations? When does coincidence look like a pattern? A reader who can answer these questions will evaluate not only claims about the sky, but claims about health, nutrition and technology on far firmer ground.
Two modules, one backbone
The first module, Scientific Claims and Testing, opens the toolbox of science: telling a claim apart from other kinds of statements, making it testable, asking which observation would prove it wrong, and setting up blind assessment against the pull of expectation.
The second module, Mind, Interpretation and Chance, turns the mirror on ourselves: why do general statements feel personal, why do we spot supporting evidence so easily, why do we find patterns in random data, and why do we leap from things changing together to one causing the other?
How to work through it
The lessons build on one another, so we recommend taking them in order. Each lesson ends with a small practice task and an eight-question knowledge check.
